The Bradford parts of JMB's interview..


JULIE: I would never want to play Spinelli, because he says way too much stuff, and I don't understand half of what he's saying--only Bradford can pull that off.

SOAPKING: ABC use to do Fan february events, OLTL did a character switch.

JULIE: It would be funny to see Jason play Spinelli,

SOAPKING: and have Bradford play Jason.

JULIE: that would be awesome.



SOAPKING: Speaking of Bradford, the amount of fanfare that the two of you get for the relationship of Lulu/Spinelli, how did that come about foryou? We know that Bradford was suppose to be short term and turned into something bigger. How is it working with him?

JULIE: Oh my gosh, he's wonderful. Clearly he's brought a huge element to the show that is very unique to GH, and they saw that immediately when he was working.. He is so professional and so easy to work with that they would be stupid if they didn't have him as a permanent character on the show.

I love working with him. I LOVED all the fan appreciation for Lulu/Spinelli. It's hard because once the two characters actually get together it's almost like the fans are unsatisfied and don't want it anymore. There is a bigger fanbase for the anticipation of a couple, then when the couple actually get together, I have found. Especially with Lulu/Spinelli, Lulu clearly would just eat Spinelli alive. Probably just hurt him and become a horrible horrible character on the show. It is probably wise they didn't put them together.

Unfortunately, I think alot of the fans had to choose between Lulu/Logan and Lulu/Johnny and move out of Lulu/Spinelli, and it makes me sad. I really liked working with him so much and really liked THEIR chemistry.

Now he's really working with Kirsten alot, so hopefully there is a good group of fans out there for him and Maxie. Spinelli needs to get the girl finally. He needs to get the girl.

JASON:(to Spin) I used to know someone kinda like Maxie. She, uh, cause a lot of damage and some people hated her but no one ever hurt her as badly as she hurt herself. It's kinda like Maxie. I mean, she isn't afraid to go after what she wants but, you know, some people, once they get what they love, they can't help but destroy it.

So who is Jason talking about in this? If it's Carly, then I'm making my UGH face. I get that they both do this kind of self destruct thing, but I just can't deal with another Carly on this show. We've already got three of them with Claudia, Carly and Lulu.

Maxie needs to be Maxie.

Still, because it's no secret that the current PTB tend to recycle, There was some speculation that Spin's life is a parallel of Jason's.

Open Letter to Spinlu Fans

Ok I know you are still out there. The die hard Spinelli and Lulu fans that are all confused about why people are jumping off the SS Spinlu. First of we haven't. We just have come to terms with the fact its not going to happen.. At least not now.. Lulu is to busy with her 'bad' boys to care a lick about Spin right now. Its sad but true. I am hopeful that she will come to her senses and it won't be too late. Spinelli can't wait around for Lulu to smarten up He can't wait around. It just not fair to him.

As a Bradford Anderson fan site we will support any potential pairing of Spinelli. Who cares if Maxie is or isn't not 'good enough' for him. The material for Bradford has been amazing.

I don't want you members of team Spinlu to feel left out. Your option matters too. Express it. Make videos write letters to the show. Who knows in a year or two we could be waiting for the arrival of our Spinlu baby. Hey its a soap right? Liason fans waited 8 years.

This is also one of my first favorite Spinelli videos. I remember thinking when i heard what song Bradford was doing for the CD that they must have see this video when they picked the song out for him LOL.

Campaign to get Spin a girlfriend

This post is based on hearsay and possible insiders, but they were right about Georgie, so I'm not taking an chances this time..

Lindze was told that they wrote her off because they wanted to go in another direction. SOD claimed G-Spin had good buzz. She could have been written into the sunset with Dillon or sent to school, so my speculation, (based on that) is they wanted to make Maxie and Spin into tragic figures..

So...

Like Spinlu?

Like Spin and Nadine?



How about that Maxie?




If you want to see Spin with a particular woman, you need to let TPTB know, NOW, whether it's snail mail or calling...or both.

You don't care for bad boy/Lulu SSDD, Johnny/Lulu or Logan/Lulu? Let them know you want Spinelli/Lulu.

You love the chemistry between Nadine/Spin, better than the possible pairing with Nikolas, you better let them know.

Like the idea of Spin and Maxie because they have so much in common? Let them know. Lucky and the Lulu leftovers are lurking.

Spin fans are a quiet bunch, we sort of take the crap they shovel at us. Go to FCW or SSW and they are much louder. They let it be known that they loved Spinlu and wanted the Jackal to end up with her, but where does this get them? They loved G-Spin, only to watch her get killed off.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really tired of this.

Spin Gives Us the "Man-Up" We've Been Looking For!

OH YEAH!! Could ANYTHING have been as sweet on Thursday's episode as Spin conking Lulu on the head with the butt of a gun? I literally JUMPED off the couch and screamed!

We begin with Lulu pulling out her well-honed passive aggressive skills and trying to use Spin's obsession with her to get her way. I LOVED that Emily called her on it, and Lulu looked pretty shocked for a moment that she wasn't getting the "backing" from the ladies she thought she would.

Spin tells her he can't let her leave, she DARES him to stop her, opens the door, steps out....I was so sure Spin would break as Lulu stomped off into the rain, spin around on his heels and yell after Lulu with a hopeless voice, showing us that even HE knew he could never stop her, then start whining to Nadine and Elizabeth that Stone Cold would never forgive him.

INSTEAD!! Without a MOMENT'S hesitation, he WHACKS her right on the bean! I LOVED IT! EXACTLY what she deserved (not just for the aforementioned preschool tantrum she was throwing, but for MUCH in the past few months). Spin looked a little sorry, but not as sorry as I would have expected in the past!!

GO SPINELLI!!

Then when Lulu wakes up, I love how he tells her not to "think" about what had happened. Even then, he knew what he had done was the right thing, regardless of how painful it was (physically for her and emotionally for him).

I do admit to being a bit perplexed, though, that she seemed to undergo some sort of personality change in 10 minutes - being a complete biznatch to Spinelli before and then dripping honey about how she couldn't believe her luck in having Spinelli as a friend.

Perhaps that's what they mean when they say someone had the sense knocked into them?

The Adventures of Spin & Nadine

Ok I have to admit it I am really liking Nadine. I like how she sees and treats Spinelli. The actress is great and I really think this may work. She may be worthy of my Spinny. Yesterday was so much fun. I am starting to like GH again and not just watch it like I am trying to down some really bad medicine.

Problems with Spinlu:
Lulu is mean to Spin and Spin is obsessive over Lulu. I really don't have much more to say on this because I have already said it before.

Problems with G-Spin:
Georgie a smart mature woman (who has already been married) is playing a 15 year old with a obsessive crush and poor Spin does not even have a clue. Its not working. I like G-Spin I have liked may of their scenes but they have de-aged Georgie by at least 5 years. I love Lindze she is has just been dealt a bad hand by the writers. Its sad it could have been done so much better.

Nadine seems to see Spinelli for who he is and still likes him (see no obsession on ether side here) Bradford and Claire Coffee (umm Coffee. Another reason to like her) really seem to work well off each other. So nut jobs in charge and writers who are currently on strike give my Spin a romance.

GH the last two days..

Probably the most unintentionally funny scene I've watched in a while was when Jason was telling Liz all the people who knew about Jake being his kid.

Lulu is getting involved with another baddie.. Johnny is texting her. Don't know why she feels the need to act out, I still say she and Maxie aren't that far apart.

Anyway.. Spin invited her to stay at the penthouse.. I would say that Jason was not happy about this development. It's getting very clear that he has a soft spot for Spin.

I must say that Spinlu are still very good together. I'm a fan of the slow building and this relationship actually accomplishes that. They both have quite a bit of maturing to do, obviously.





As for the other parts of the show? It was good to see Old Skool Jax actually getting one over on Trevor.

I have no horse in this race, so I will say that the Liason love scene was very well done and romantic. Then again, I also felt bad that Lucky/Liz are divorcing, even though all I've seen mostly from them since I started watching again is hateful and unfaithful. (I was a fan of the couple when JJ was Lucky..)

Logan remains a squicky character to me. I had to laugh at all the nasties coming out of his mouth. Didn't know daytime TV allowed such language. I don't think I can even repeat what he called Maxie on Penny's PG-rated journal..

Logan is a screw up!. He has got nothing on the Jackal.

Ok is it bad that I giggle when my sweet Jackal punched Logan and when Lulu 'heart' got scuffed up by Maxie. Both times I giggled.

The best thing about today was Jason & Spinelli.

Jason found Spinelli mixing vodka and orange soda to ease his pain (someone needs to tell him you don't mix your beverage of choice with vodka. not a good idea..)

Jason and Spinelli has another wonderful heart felt discusion. Spinelli forces me to like Jason (be it kicking and screaming all the way). Jason is warmer then he was a year ago and it not just because of Jake. Spinelli has a great deal to do with Stone Cold's thawing.

Then like a gift from the cyber-gods Logan walks in fresh from Lulu getting her heart broke. (gleeful laugh)

ok I like Georgie. I refuse to get my heart broke though so I can't jump on the G-Spin train just yet. The Spinlu train has gotten pretty roomy and I am a pretty sorry romantic. Georgie really is agreat friend to Spin that in its self is true.

Love tears and other things..

Lulu found out about the bet from Maxie. Logan cried because he lost Lulu.Spin found out what Logan did and he cried, because Lulu was hurt.

So, who truly loves Lulu?

Logan, the guy who is crying because he got found out and lost her?

Or Spinelli? He's the guy who might even have a chance with her now that Logan is out of the picture, but cries because he doesn't want to see her heart shattered again..

This is why I root for Spinelli and Lulu.





Also, I love the brotherly love between Spin and Jason. Steve Burton is right. This is the best thing that could happen to him. It humanizes the character. Patting Spin on the back and saying "Logan has nothing on the Jackyl" or "Don't drink that, (Vodka and orange soda) your going to be sick" (But you know he'd take care of him) Not to mention, Spin is gradually changing, too. No longer the lost puppy begging for attention, Spin is completely at ease with Jason. He tells him he's busy, Jason steals his potato chips/soda as a comeback.

I still have my mind open for Georgie, just having a hard time wrapping my head around her wanting to risk her heart on another guy who is hung up on Lulu. (Listening to a guy go on and on about loving a girl who stole her husband seems like a bit much.) Also, Spin is an acquired taste. Jason and Lulu's love has grown gradually. The Jackyl struggles outside of cyberspace for good reason.

I guess I'm saying that I just wish they had more time and it didn't seem so rushed.

I'm sure most have heard that Lindze has signed a three month extension to her contract.. Take from that whatever you will..

Spinlu vs G-Spin

Since I am a Spinelli fan first (over any potential couple pairing) I thought it may be interesting to go over my thoughts of Spinlu vs G-Spin.

Thoughts on Spinlu.
I don't think it is much of a surprise my heart is with Spinlu. I think they have such potential to be an epic couple. They already have a rich history, (being kidnaped together, metro-court hostage crisis & keepers of baby Jake's true paternity.) He went into the metro-court FOR HER. Over his his fear he went in to try and save her save. He is such as true and wonderful friend to her too. I think when I write that out though you see my own personal issues with Spinlu. It seems so one sided. Lulu yells at Spinelli, takes and takes from him and NEVER gives. She has a greater interest in Logan's past then Spinelli's. The only thing Lulu has going for her is I do feel Lulu and Spinelli have get on screen chemistry.. (well when she is not yelling at him) Perhaps lulu is afraid to lose her heart to Spinelli and have him crush it? Who knows but she treats him horribly and then asks for him to say sorry to her. Sad Sad Sad. As a Spinelli fan I really have to question at times if Lulu is worthy of the Jackal's affections.

Thoughts on G-Spin.
G-Spin is the pairing the guys in charge did to quiet Spinelli's fans asking for Spinelli to have his love. The start of the summer they where not even in each others radar. (heck poor Georgie was not getting any screen time at all) A little over a year she has played second fiddle to Lulu. If they really do a G-Spin will that mean that Georgie will end up with a broken heart because of Lulu like what happened with Dillon and her? Those are the only negatives. Georgie is sweet to Spinelli and see he is the catch between a poser like Logan. I also think it would be justice to have Lulu lose Spinelli to Georgie.. Truly lose. For her to realize she lost outthe best guy from the girl who's life Lulu destroyed just last summer.

so in conclusion I don't care if it ends up being G-Spin or Spinlu.. As long as my Jackal is happy.

Spinelli's Fantasy

Spinelli the Torchered.

Wednesday was a BIG Spinelli day.

Spinelli goes into Kelly's and notices a uber-happy Blonde One. The naughty bad blonde one swoops down at the sight and sits down with Spinelli. She then proceeds to torment Spinelli about the reason that Lulu was so happy. She must be in good mood because she is 'getting some' from Logan (gag). I really must say how much I love scenes with Spinelli & Maxie. Forget Lulu, Georgie & even Jolene. SpinMax would be soo much fun. ok back to the scene. Maxie keeps poking Spin till Lulu comes over (still sickly joyful) and 'scares' Maxie away. Lulu asks whats wrong and Spin tries and change the subject till the 'unworthy one' come in.

Lulu thinks ok great I been completely brain washed by the unworthy one lets have my two favorite guys make peace with each other. Logan 'faked' it pretty good but Spinelli refused. He would not accept Logan. He wished Lulu well and all the happiness in the world but refused to be fake for Lulu. Way to go Spin! He then got up and left.

He then went to the penthouse to lick his wounds and deal with his feels. Poor Spinelli. He was not there very long till the DA of darkness came looking for Jason. Spinelli just started letting out the feelings he had kept bottle up with Lulu. Bradford did amazing in these scenes. Very powerful

After Ric finally leaves Spinelli chases away his sorrows with some BBQ chips with an orange soda chaser.

He then starts to have a daydream involving Lulu and "the girls next door". Not only was it entertaining to watch but you could get into a whole seperate blog posting about the how young men have stereotypical views of females. (1960s Lulu contrasted with the playboy playmates)

in the end fantasy Spin chooses Lulu over the other blonde ones.
