My daily online rounds as a Spinelli fan..
I am a busy gal. I know must not seem that way but I am busy.. Here are the places i visit daily.. Most of the time 5 to 10 times a day.. I need to keep myself up to date to be able to post new stuff. I thought I would share the places I haunt all the time.
1. The Spinelli Live Journal Community:
This place ROCKS. Spikey always posts great stuff. Some stuff I don't post over here. Like spoilers.. I tend to not post spoilers.. (though if there was ever a reliable spoiler that Spinelli was going to die don't worry I would bring it over)
But really its a fun place.. http://community.livejournal.com/spinelli_gh/
2. Soap Central GH Message Board
I have been posting here since BEFORE Spinelli was even on the screen. Before I even liked Spinelli (yes i am a former Spin hater pre-metrocourt hostage crisis) Its a busy board, pretty much respectful though there are some people who are Anti-Spin (Actor bashing is not allowed so no anti-Bradford but how could anyone be anti-Bradford really?) So I can usually be seen defending my Spin to haters everywhere.
http://boards.soapcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7
3. Opposite Attraction board.. http://z3.invisionfree.com/SpinMax/index.php,,..
Fun board Fun posts and they support Spixie with a fiery passion.
I do visit other places but when i wake up and when i go to bed .. these are the places I check first..

Support Letter
I have penned my newest letter to Guza and I thought I would share it with you. Some of you might wonder what exactly you should say or do in a fan letter, so I hope you can take something away from my example. As a Spixie fan, my letter focuses around them. I think it is important that Spixie fans start telling Guza exactly what they want---a romance. Let there not be any room for misunderstanding. I don't just want them as wacky hijinks friends, I want them as a couple.
I think we are a very intelligent fanbase (have to know a lot of stuff to understand Spinelli, right?) and our letters can be very, very impressive. Please take the time to show some support for Spinelli/Bradford Anderson. Not all letters have to be this long or look anything like this, and all that matters is that you say what's in your heart and on your mind.
Dear Mr. Guza,
I have to thank you for the entire month of June. I got to see my favorite character, Spinelli, almost every day. The scene with Claudia and Spinelli on the docks together was sublime by the way.
Today, I would like to focus my letter around one specific aspect of Spinelli's life. His relationship with Maxie Jones. Their story has been so pure, steady, and magical. The chemistry between the actors screams old school supercouple. They are the results shows like GH wish they could get when casting actors/actresses for a couple. Spinelli and Maxie are proof that General Hospital has room to tell a BEAUTIFUL love story amidst all the other action packed drama.
Yes, I said LOVE STORY. While they are great as friends, I need to see that relationship taken to the next level. The story progression is organic and natural. Making those two a couple would be the best story of 2008, done deal.
While I love their wacky hijinks, Spinelli and Maxie's relationship represents something so much deeper to a fan like me. Spinelli...never wins. Maxie...always loses. It's poetic. There is a part in every single person's heart that knows that they need love but doubts anyone will ever want them (flaws and all). You cannot possibly know (or, perhaps you can?) how much it would mean to me for General Hospital to tell that story--of two extreme people finding true acceptance in another person and to actually find themselves not just LOVED but IN LOVE.
There isn't a formula someone could come up with that is more impressive and important. Impressive because a story as unique as Maxie and Spinelli's is sure to never be forgotten over years and years, as fans are forever going to be saying to one another "Remember those two? They were special". Important because it's an opportunity to tell the audience that no matter how you look, what mistakes you've made, how odd you are, or how much baggage you have---THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO WILL HAVE YOU, AND THEY WILL THINK YOU ARE PERFECT.
Now, isn't that a great legacy? "Carpe Diem", Mr. Guza, and let Spinelli and Maxie take that leap into the crazy/magic love story they are just begging to have. There wouldn't be a dry eye in the audience if these two souls found each other after feeling as though they never would.
My Sincerest Thanks,
Lindsay

Do's and Don't's for a Spinelli fan: (Spoilers)
While watching GH under this current team as a Spinelli fan:
Don't expect any backstory of deep meaning.
Don't think that he's related to anyone on canvas. Jason is his family.
Don't expect the Logan murder mystery to bond Spinlu in any way.
Don't think that this thing with Claudia is any deeper than putting her in close proximity to Jason.
Do expect whacky hi-jinx.
Do expect every girl on the show to say that he's the sweetest guy ever and she adores him with all her heart but gosh, he just doesn't do it for her.
Do expect anyone who has feelings for Spin to be ignored or killed off.
Do expect Maxie to say that she hates Matt, but OMG she really wants to nail him. This story has played on repeat a thousand times.
Do call and write to tell TPTB that BA is an award winning theater actor, who will take chances and deserves something better than only comic relief.
Thank you.

Summer Support Rally: Give Spinelli a Story.
complacency- A feeling of contentment or self-satisfaction, especially when coupled with an unawareness of danger, trouble, or controversy.
This has to be one of my favorite words as it relates to support campaigns. I would like to believe Hugs for Spinelli last February was a huge success. Was it a coincidence that we got some Spinelli GREAT moments all late winter through Spring? Perhaps but you know what perhaps not.
Lets look at it this way. When was the last time you wrote a letter? When was the last time you called the comment line?
Its time again that we show our support of Bradford Anderson in his role of Spinelli on General Hospital.
Whats IN one moment in the soap world may not be IN the next. Character and actors
ARE disposed of regularly this is an industry fact.
So join us again in a broad support campaign though the end of July. Make a personal commitment. You CAN make a difference.

June 16th Recap
Spinelli has been caught by Maxie in front of Giselle talking in his Aussie accent. He fumbles for words as Sonny comes over and mocks Spinelli (calling him freaky boy again). Spinelli bolts and goes to the bar to down some vodka while Maxie tells him that he better not be messing with Crimson. She seems to think that this is some sort of Jackal PI undercover investigation of his that is interfering with her job.
Claudia doesn't understand whats wrong with him except that he is drunk. It's a great scene, his monologue is both funny and heartbreaking (the definition of Spinelli), and, dare I say it, Emmy worthy stuff. This is just one of those rare scenes you watch over and over.
Claudia tries to give Spinelli a piggyback ride home. Jason comes into the penthouse and finds Spinelli (brace yourself) lying on top of Claudia, giggling, on the couch. Claws just shrugs innocently. This should be fun.

She seems to think that this is some sort of Jackal PI undercover investigation of his that is interfering with her job.
Spinelli tries to explain about "Damian" but fails, popping in and out of his accent. Maxie seems to have something else on her mind that is stressing her and she is rude to Spinelli, telling him to leave and take his annoying personalities with him. Also, it should be noted that Spinelli is obviously tipsy at this point, making communication a wee bit tiresome between the two of them. Spinelli leaves the Haunted Star all sad faced at Maxie's anger.
Later, on the docks, the vodka has obviously gone to Spinelli's head. He is drunk and crawling around on the ground, singing to himself in an Aussie accent. Yeah. He then has this odd little monologue with himself, spotting a shiny object on the ground, Claudia's bangle. She comes around and finds him talking to himself like this. He begs her to leave him alone because "we" mean no harm, alluding to The Jackal and Damian. His split identities seem to leave Claudia confused. He explains to her that they are both him, his personalities, but are both socially inept and losers. He laments about how easy it was to be Damian, because Damian was cool and calm and knew what to say. However, Damian fell apart when Maxie showed up.Claudia doesn't understand whats wrong with him except that he is drunk. It's a great scene, his monologue is both funny and heartbreaking (the definition of Spinelli), and, dare I say it, Emmy worthy stuff. This is just one of those rare scenes you watch over and over.

June 10th-11th Recap
Spinelli and Leyla are still dancing. He explains he learned to waltz online. He swings Leyla into another wedding attendant and she cuts Leyla down and makes fun of Spinelli as being a pathetic date. Leyla tells Spinelli he's a wondeful date. As they are leaving, a man calls Leyla a good looking terrorist. Spinelli punches him instantly. Spinelli got arrested. Bad timing too, because Mayor Floyd was just telling Mac to start arresting some mobsters before the city starts losing faith in him. Leyla said that Spinelli deserved a medal while Spinelli looked quite pleased at his situation, counting up the Cool Points he earned that evening.
Mac tells Spinelli, "You can't go around punching people Spinelli". Spinelli and Leyla, Nikolas and Nadine stand around talking back and forth about their relatively strange arrests. Alexis comes in and whips the boys of the PCPD into shape, letting Spinelli go free. Spinelli apologizes to Leyla for their evening ending that way. Leyla tells him nothing is wrong, and that he is her hero. She kissed him on the cheek and Spinelli got *that look* on his face.
Spinelli goes into the coffee shop acting uber confidant. Little did he realize, the guy he punched the day before (after the jerk called Leyla a terrorist) was sitting at Sonnybucks having a cup of joe. He called Spinelli a terrorist lover and said some other horrible things. Spinelli went to take another swing at the punk but this time the neanderthal got the upper hand and pushed Spinelli face first unto the nearest table. Materializing out of the air like some mystical Justice League, Diane, Milo, Max, and Jason showed up, guns out. Diane gave the punk a verbal beat down.
Spinelli demanded that the guy apologize to him and then asked for all of his money. The jerk was confused, but Spinelli took his money and said it would be donated (in the Jerk's name) to the Red Cross (because they defend all people without care for their race or creed). THAT was funny. Jason wanted to know why that guy was so upset at Spinelli in the first place and Spinelli recalled the night before, telling everyone proudly that he knocked the guy out with a single punch. No one seemed to believe him. Jason told Spinelli to not fight anymore because he didn't want him getting hurt. Spinelli was offended.
Later, Spinelli went to the Metrocourt and spotted Jax. It seemed as though a light bulb went off in his head. He told Jax that he wanted to be just like him. He lamented that no one saw him as a man except for Georgie, and he didn't see her in time. Jax seemed a little annoyed at first, telling Spinelli that he should just be himself. And then Spinelli replied "Myself is not good enough." He told Jax he would gladly change anything and everything about himself if it would make his love see him. He also said that he didn't understand why everyone else finds love but not him. In the end, Jax agrees to help him out. Spinelli replied with a hearty "Hazzah!" ...Jax said that word had to go.

Freaks and Geeks
June 4th-9th Recap
Spinelli tries to get Jason to help him out with wooing Maxie but he is too busy. Jason tells Diane to help Spinelli out. Diane hears Spinelli's version of the events at the Crimson office and insists that Maxie was dropping hints. She believes that Maxie wants HIM to "seize the day" again. Spinelli goes back to Maxie at the office, determined. He sweeps her up in a kiss.
Spinelli went to Jason to get some man advice since Maxie seems determined to see him only as a friend. Sonny came into the conversation and told Spinelli to leave. Spinelli wanted to apologize to Sonny again for I guess existing. Sonny got angry and, in front of Jason, repeatedly called Spinelli "freak boy". Spinelli took the abuse in strange silence, zoning out as if blocking it all out, then left. He wound up on the docks, looking as though he were about to cry, when Leyla came down the stairs in a great dress, asking if he was okay and if she could help.
June 4th
Spinelli's attempts to impress the lady at Jake's turned out to be futile. She wasn't exactly interested in him, or any man (if you catch my drift). Maxie showed up after the failure and told him to get rid of his spam posts on Robin's blog. He almost let is slip that Patrick was paying him with Ladies Man Tips for spamming her blog in the first place. Maxie tells Spinelli that since she had to leave work to sort the whole thing out for Robin he must help her at Crimson in order for Kate to stay off her back. As they go into Kate's office together, Spinelli and Maxie crash Kate and Sonny's very own private party. Spinelli was horrified, but Maxie made a comment later that she would like a man who could sweep her off her feet like that. She is attracted to the kind of man that makes you forget to lock the door.

Kate interrupted the kiss action on her desk between Spinelli and Maxie. Maxie assumed just he was kissing her as a cover for her snooping in Kate's office. Maxie KISSES Spinelli in thanks for his genius. Kate banned Spinelli from Crimson until he could keep his hands to himself (Maxie later fought with Kate on this subject, waxing poetic about what an awesome person her friend was, and pretty much demanded Kate give him some respect.Spinelli went to Jason to get some man advice since Maxie seems determined to see him only as a friend.
June 9th
Leyla and Spinelli were at the wedding already when the show started. Spinelli was wearing a suit. Horrible shirt, but nice hair and general appearance. He told Leyla's mom what a great guy Leo was, which made Leyla turn green thinking that her mother would be pressuring her to get married. She explained that her mother bugs her a lot about settling down and having babies. Spinelli gave Leyla a great pep talk that led Leyla to say that Spinelli was the perfect date and she wouldn't want to be there with anyone else. This made him grin, a wee bit shocked. The last we saw of them, Spinelli and Leyla were waltzing, having a good time.

So much Spinelli, so little time!
Quick Recap!
I'm trying to get the recaps completely up to date, but they seem to be instead several days behind! So, excuse this recap for being it's less than extensive self! Spinelli has been on SO much recently (and he's supposed to be on everyday for a while) I'm having a little trouble keeping up! Hopefully this quick summary of events will help!
--May 29th--
Maxie and Lulu bicker over Spinelli while Sam tries her hardest to make Spinelli look like a stud. Later, Spinelli tells Sam he is a total wimp but Sam wants to help him with that. After removing his shirt, Sam tells him his body isn't as bad as he laments, and perhaps some muscle toning is in order. Also, she comments on his posture and says she wants to build his confidence. Later Sam confides in Lucky that she thinks Spinelli is a sweetheart that deserves to get the girl, but doesn't think he has a chance. Spinelli leaves Sam's place after a vigorous workout.
--May 30th--
Spinelli first told Jason that he was working out to impress Maxie. When Jason tells Spinelli that he has taken over the business, Spinelli is extremely concerned for Jason knowing that his friend doesn't really want the job. He worries what will happen to Jason if he takes on Mob Boss without really wanting to be in charge. Diane comes in and tells Jason he needs a better alibi than Spinelli if he's going to retaliate against the Zacchara's for destroying a shipment. Spinelli (who seemed oddly more CONFIDENT) told Diane he would be an excellent alibi, thank you very much. Later, Sam meets Spinelli at Sonnybucks. He tells her the workout is just SO hard and he doesn't think he can do it. Later, he goes to see Maxie at Crimson and walks in on her making out with Johnny Z.
--June 2nd--
Spinelli interrupted the Johnny/Maxie kiss. Johnny told Maxie to back off and Spinelli told her Johnny was trying to save her from further embarassment. After this scene, Spinelli went to take out his frustraion at the gun range. He ran into Sam. They went back to the penthouse and she told him he had "manly skills" besides shooting things. Then Sam and Spinelli practiced a romantic dinner together, but Jason showed up and awkwardness ensued. Spinelli explained he was just getting lessons from Sam to impress Maximista. Jason rolled his eyes annoyed. Sam told Spinelli and Jason that all Spinelli really needed to do was stop thinking he needed to be the Brooding Bad Boy Jason Wannabe.
Spinelli went to Crimson to apologize (with flowers) to Maxie in case she thought he believed her to be a promiscuous. She didn't seem too bothered by anything but told him he couldn't leave the flowers because Kate had "ambiance" rules. He was a little dejected when she called him her best friend. Obviously, he wants more than that, and then tried to ask her to a classical music concert in the park followed by dinner. She seemed to think it was all about making her "look smart" like they agreed a few months ago. He told her she misunderstood his intentions but then received a call from Patrick Drake.
Spinelli went to Jake's to see what was up. Patrick got Spinelli to spam Robin's blog in exchange for tips on attracting ladies As Spinelli was jackaling, a girl walked into the bar and wondered what was up with the flowers. Patrick and Coleman (who assured Spinelli the woman wasn't a "cortesan") told him to go for it. Spinelli and the woman conversed (a little awkwardly but much better than past attempts). She said she liked the way he talked (Spinelli is such a ladies man). The scene ended there to be wrapped up on Wednesday.
I hope that catches everyone up!

Prologue to a Makeover
Recap: May 27-May 28
Spinelli began his day helping out Carly on her scheme to get out of town with Morgan. The whole event upsets him, so he goes to council with Maximista at Crimson about how he could possibly help in such a depressing situation. Sonny walks into the office and Spinelli tries to give his opinion on the subject of Sonny's paternal rights. Sonny doesn't take his advice kindly and throws The Jackal into a post, knocking Spinelli's head on the structure so hard he can't walk straight.
Maxie immediately jumps in to yell at Sonny for attacking Spinelli. She takes him back to her house and tells him that she will take care of him all night in case he has a concussion. Spinelli melts at the idea of being with her all evening.
When Spinelli awakens the next morning in Maxie's bed, the details of what transpired the night before are fuzzy to say the least. Spinelli asks what happened between the two of them and why he would be in her bed. Some things get...lost in translation. Spinelli thinks he and Maxie went "beyond friendship", when in reality nothing happened and Maxie had simply been tending to his possible concussion all night. Mac comes into Maxie's room and discovers The Jackal snuggled into Maxie's bed. Chaos ensues and Spinelli is thrown out of the house before he can get a more detailed explanation of what really happened.
Sam finds Spinelli confused and muttering to himself on the docks. She asks what is wrong and Spinelli explains to her that he thinks he might have slept with Maxie but can't remember. Sam goes to find Maxie and discovers that nothing at all happened. She meets Spinelli later at the penthouse to break the news to him that he didn't have any sort of "relations" with Maxie at all. He decides that he is pretty pathetic, being in the same bed with his love all night and not even kissing her. He fears it will be a hopeless task trying to get Maxie to see him as a guy, a love interest. Sam realizes that all Spinelli needs is a woman's perspective. She agrees to take him under her wing to help him get the girl.

Spinelli's hair gave Dillon Quartermaine's famous locks a run for their money.
Game On.
From Robin's diary:
Love or Friendship
I tried to reassure Uncle Mac that there’s nothing going on between Maxie and Spinelli, but he’s still not convinced. He’s concerned for Maxie’s safety, and he doesn’t want to lose her like he did Georgie. Maxie told me that she and Spinelli are just friends, but I think their relationship is developing into something more. Of course, I didn’t tell Uncle Mac about my theory because he would’ve gone off the rails. I love Uncle Mac dearly, but he does have a tendency to overreact. Besides, Maxie could do a whole lot worse than fall in love with Spinelli.

And So it Goes...
Sung by David A on AMERICAN IDOL. I root for David C, but I really thought this was a Spinmax song. Nothing anyone hasn't seen before, but it's so awwwww...
By the way, I've noticed SO Many Spin/Spixie vids on YOU TUBE right now. There is just about anything you could imagine..

Make Good Choices Today (Write a letter!)
Do you have a certain hope or wish for Spinelli's character on GH? Do you want to see him with a particular pairing, etc? Would you like to have your opinion acknowledged but you are skeptical about how much your voice actually counts to TPTB?
Well, you may find this interesting:
Sonya Eddy (Epiphany on GH) was recently interviewed and stressed how important writing fan mail is. She explained that writing an one fan letter can have the weight of a couple thousand fans in the eyes of the people in charge. That is EXTREMELY powerful...the idea that your voice is counted so much even if you are the only one.
Sonya also said that she has seen storylines change because of such mail. Wow.
Imagine for a second if each Spinelli fan took out a good old piece of paper and pen, sat down, and expressed what the character meant to them. In a letter, you could say what you love, what you wish to see more of, who you hope Spinelli was with romantically, what left an impression on you....anything that comes to mind. Yours could be that letter that makes a difference...
This isn't the first we have heard of the importance of fan mail. Insiders have been muttering for a while about how important it is to write. Campaigning is one thing, calling and emailing is important, but there is just something about the idea of a fan taking the time out of their day to use good old fashioned snail mail that impresses those in charge.
Please, take some time to support Spinelli. The last campaign (Hugs for Spinelli) really seemed to have a strong affect on his character. We got more screen time for him, a budding romance, all sorts of interesting and funny scenes...And I think it has a lot to do with how vocal we were during that time.
So...consider this Scribbles for Spinelli or....Sonnets for Spinelli....Letters for Spinelli.
Write your hearts out. Your voice counts, it counts a lot, and it counts for something.

Jason compares SOMEONE to Maxie...
JASON:(to Spin) I used to know someone kinda like Maxie. She, uh, cause a lot of damage and some people hated her but no one ever hurt her as badly as she hurt herself. It's kinda like Maxie. I mean, she isn't afraid to go after what she wants but, you know, some people, once they get what they love, they can't help but destroy it.
------
Spikey here..
So who is Jason talking about in this? If it's Carly, then I'm making my UGH face. I get that they both do this kind of self destruct thing, but I just can't deal with another Carly on this show. We've already got three of them with Claudia, Carly and Lulu.
Maxie needs to be Maxie.
Still, because it's no secret that the current PTB tend to recycle, There was some speculation that Spin's life is a parallel of Jason's.
