June 16th Recap

Spinelli has been caught by Maxie in front of Giselle talking in his Aussie accent. He fumbles for words as Sonny comes over and mocks Spinelli (calling him freaky boy again). Spinelli bolts and goes to the bar to down some vodka while Maxie tells him that he better not be messing with Crimson. She seems to think that this is some sort of Jackal PI undercover investigation of his that is interfering with her job.

Spinelli tries to explain about "Damian" but fails, popping in and out of his accent. Maxie seems to have something else on her mind that is stressing her and she is rude to Spinelli, telling him to leave and take his annoying personalities with him. Also, it should be noted that Spinelli is obviously tipsy at this point, making communication a wee bit tiresome between the two of them. Spinelli leaves the Haunted Star all sad faced at Maxie's anger.

Later, on the docks, the vodka has obviously gone to Spinelli's head. He is drunk and crawling around on the ground, singing to himself in an Aussie accent. Yeah. He then has this odd little monologue with himself, spotting a shiny object on the ground, Claudia's bangle. She comes around and finds him talking to himself like this. He begs her to leave him alone because "we" mean no harm, alluding to The Jackal and Damian. His split identities seem to leave Claudia confused. He explains to her that they are both him, his personalities, but are both socially inept and losers. He laments about how easy it was to be Damian, because Damian was cool and calm and knew what to say. However, Damian fell apart when Maxie showed up.

Claudia doesn't understand whats wrong with him except that he is drunk. It's a great scene, his monologue is both funny and heartbreaking (the definition of Spinelli), and, dare I say it, Emmy worthy stuff. This is just one of those rare scenes you watch over and over.

Claudia tries to give Spinelli a piggyback ride home. Jason comes into the penthouse and finds Spinelli (brace yourself) lying on top of Claudia, giggling, on the couch. Claws just shrugs innocently. This should be fun.

June 10th-11th Recap

June 10th

Spinelli and Leyla are still dancing. He explains he learned to waltz online. He swings Leyla into another wedding attendant and she cuts Leyla down and makes fun of Spinelli as being a pathetic date. Leyla tells Spinelli he's a wondeful date. As they are leaving, a man calls Leyla a good looking terrorist. Spinelli punches him instantly. Spinelli got arrested. Bad timing too, because Mayor Floyd was just telling Mac to start arresting some mobsters before the city starts losing faith in him. Leyla said that Spinelli deserved a medal while Spinelli looked quite pleased at his situation, counting up the Cool Points he earned that evening.

Look at that face. That is the face of ultimate glee.

Mac tells Spinelli, "You can't go around punching people Spinelli". Spinelli and Leyla, Nikolas and Nadine stand around talking back and forth about their relatively strange arrests. Alexis comes in and whips the boys of the PCPD into shape, letting Spinelli go free. Spinelli apologizes to Leyla for their evening ending that way. Leyla tells him nothing is wrong, and that he is her hero. She kissed him on the cheek and Spinelli got *that look* on his face.

June 11th

Spinelli goes into the coffee shop acting uber confidant. Little did he realize, the guy he punched the day before (after the jerk called Leyla a terrorist) was sitting at Sonnybucks having a cup of joe. He called Spinelli a terrorist lover and said some other horrible things. Spinelli went to take another swing at the punk but this time the neanderthal got the upper hand and pushed Spinelli face first unto the nearest table. Materializing out of the air like some mystical Justice League, Diane, Milo, Max, and Jason showed up, guns out. Diane gave the punk a verbal beat down.

Spinelli demanded that the guy apologize to him and then asked for all of his money. The jerk was confused, but Spinelli took his money and said it would be donated (in the Jerk's name) to the Red Cross (because they defend all people without care for their race or creed). THAT was funny. Jason wanted to know why that guy was so upset at Spinelli in the first place and Spinelli recalled the night before, telling everyone proudly that he knocked the guy out with a single punch. No one seemed to believe him. Jason told Spinelli to not fight anymore because he didn't want him getting hurt. Spinelli was offended.

Later, Spinelli went to the Metrocourt and spotted Jax. It seemed as though a light bulb went off in his head. He told Jax that he wanted to be just like him. He lamented that no one saw him as a man except for Georgie, and he didn't see her in time. Jax seemed a little annoyed at first, telling Spinelli that he should just be himself. And then Spinelli replied "Myself is not good enough." He told Jax he would gladly change anything and everything about himself if it would make his love see him. He also said that he didn't understand why everyone else finds love but not him. In the end, Jax agrees to help him out. Spinelli replied with a hearty "Hazzah!" ...Jax said that word had to go.

June 4th-9th Recap

June 4th

Spinelli's attempts to impress the lady at Jake's turned out to be futile. She wasn't exactly interested in him, or any man (if you catch my drift). Maxie showed up after the failure and told him to get rid of his spam posts on Robin's blog. He almost let is slip that Patrick was paying him with Ladies Man Tips for spamming her blog in the first place. Maxie tells Spinelli that since she had to leave work to sort the whole thing out for Robin he must help her at Crimson in order for Kate to stay off her back. As they go into Kate's office together, Spinelli and Maxie crash Kate and Sonny's very own private party. Spinelli was horrified, but Maxie made a comment later that she would like a man who could sweep her off her feet like that. She is attracted to the kind of man that makes you forget to lock the door.

June 5th

Spinelli tries to get Jason to help him out with wooing Maxie but he is too busy. Jason tells Diane to help Spinelli out. Diane hears Spinelli's version of the events at the Crimson office and insists that Maxie was dropping hints. She believes that Maxie wants HIM to "seize the day" again. Spinelli goes back to Maxie at the office, determined. He sweeps her up in a kiss.

June 6th

Kate interrupted the kiss action on her desk between Spinelli and Maxie. Maxie assumed just he was kissing her as a cover for her snooping in Kate's office. Maxie KISSES Spinelli in thanks for his genius. Kate banned Spinelli from Crimson until he could keep his hands to himself (Maxie later fought with Kate on this subject, waxing poetic about what an awesome person her friend was, and pretty much demanded Kate give him some respect.

Spinelli went to Jason to get some man advice since Maxie seems determined to see him only as a friend. Sonny came into the conversation and told Spinelli to leave. Spinelli wanted to apologize to Sonny again for I guess existing. Sonny got angry and, in front of Jason, repeatedly called Spinelli "freak boy". Spinelli took the abuse in strange silence, zoning out as if blocking it all out, then left. He wound up on the docks, looking as though he were about to cry, when Leyla came down the stairs in a great dress, asking if he was okay and if she could help.

June 9th

Leyla and Spinelli were at the wedding already when the show started. Spinelli was wearing a suit. Horrible shirt, but nice hair and general appearance. He told Leyla's mom what a great guy Leo was, which made Leyla turn green thinking that her mother would be pressuring her to get married. She explained that her mother bugs her a lot about settling down and having babies. Spinelli gave Leyla a great pep talk that led Leyla to say that Spinelli was the perfect date and she wouldn't want to be there with anyone else. This made him grin, a wee bit shocked. The last we saw of them, Spinelli and Leyla were waltzing, having a good time.

Quick Recap!

I'm trying to get the recaps completely up to date, but they seem to be instead several days behind! So, excuse this recap for being it's less than extensive self! Spinelli has been on SO much recently (and he's supposed to be on everyday for a while) I'm having a little trouble keeping up! Hopefully this quick summary of events will help!

--May 29th--

Maxie and Lulu bicker over Spinelli while Sam tries her hardest to make Spinelli look like a stud. Later, Spinelli tells Sam he is a total wimp but Sam wants to help him with that. After removing his shirt, Sam tells him his body isn't as bad as he laments, and perhaps some muscle toning is in order. Also, she comments on his posture and says she wants to build his confidence. Later Sam confides in Lucky that she thinks Spinelli is a sweetheart that deserves to get the girl, but doesn't think he has a chance. Spinelli leaves Sam's place after a vigorous workout.

--May 30th--

Spinelli first told Jason that he was working out to impress Maxie. When Jason tells Spinelli that he has taken over the business, Spinelli is extremely concerned for Jason knowing that his friend doesn't really want the job. He worries what will happen to Jason if he takes on Mob Boss without really wanting to be in charge. Diane comes in and tells Jason he needs a better alibi than Spinelli if he's going to retaliate against the Zacchara's for destroying a shipment. Spinelli (who seemed oddly more CONFIDENT) told Diane he would be an excellent alibi, thank you very much. Later, Sam meets Spinelli at Sonnybucks. He tells her the workout is just SO hard and he doesn't think he can do it. Later, he goes to see Maxie at Crimson and walks in on her making out with Johnny Z.

--June 2nd--

Spinelli interrupted the Johnny/Maxie kiss. Johnny told Maxie to back off and Spinelli told her Johnny was trying to save her from further embarassment. After this scene, Spinelli went to take out his frustraion at the gun range. He ran into Sam. They went back to the penthouse and she told him he had "manly skills" besides shooting things. Then Sam and Spinelli practiced a romantic dinner together, but Jason showed up and awkwardness ensued. Spinelli explained he was just getting lessons from Sam to impress Maximista. Jason rolled his eyes annoyed. Sam told Spinelli and Jason that all Spinelli really needed to do was stop thinking he needed to be the Brooding Bad Boy Jason Wannabe.

--June 3rd--

Spinelli went to Crimson to apologize (with flowers) to Maxie in case she thought he believed her to be a promiscuous. She didn't seem too bothered by anything but told him he couldn't leave the flowers because Kate had "ambiance" rules. He was a little dejected when she called him her best friend. Obviously, he wants more than that, and then tried to ask her to a classical music concert in the park followed by dinner. She seemed to think it was all about making her "look smart" like they agreed a few months ago. He told her she misunderstood his intentions but then received a call from Patrick Drake.

Spinelli went to Jake's to see what was up. Patrick got Spinelli to spam Robin's blog in exchange for tips on attracting ladies As Spinelli was jackaling, a girl walked into the bar and wondered what was up with the flowers. Patrick and Coleman (who assured Spinelli the woman wasn't a "cortesan") told him to go for it. Spinelli and the woman conversed (a little awkwardly but much better than past attempts). She said she liked the way he talked (Spinelli is such a ladies man). The scene ended there to be wrapped up on Wednesday.

Thoroughly Conkissed

April 31st--May 1st

This was an demanding soap day for our esteemed Jackal. He demonstrated all of his skills: looking good in a suit, making a scene, Jackaling to save the day, and getting caught between a rock and and blond place.

Spinelli joined Alexis and Diane "in disguise" (a.k.a. fancy hair and clothes) in the courtroom at Anthony Zacchara's trial to determine if he was mentally sane or not. The dynamic lawyer lady duo was skeptical of his being there to say the least. As the the trial began, The Jackal burst from his seat and cried "Objection!", confusing all in the room.

Even Ric (Darth) Lansing couldn't stop Spinelli from going on his theatrical rant about what a danger to society Anthony Zacchara really is. Onlookers were either confused or amused by Spinelli's zeal. One person not even slightly amused was the judge, quickly ordering The Jackal be taken from room either by his own doing or with the aid of an officer. Spinelli chose to leave of his own accord rather than be hauled off to the PCPD. He then clapped Alexis on the shoulders, declaring that the judge was now ready and warmed up. Perhaps causing a distraction was his intention, because Alexis then called for a stall in the trial.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, Maxie is having a major meltdown. She deleted an important email at Crimson in order for Lulu to look bad, but Kate decided to blame both her and Lulu for the loss of important information. Maxie calls Spinelli, desperate that he come and help her retrieve the email before she loses her dream job.

Lulu and Maxie bicker, discussing who is really using Spinelli. Spinelli arrives in the midst of another war of the words. Lulu tells Spinelli that Maxie isn't his real friend. Maxie retorts that Lulu is only jealous and that Lulu treats Spinelli like a toy. Maxie then adds "...but you are not a toy to me, Spinelli", planting a kiss right on a very shocked Jackal. Lulu watches on, perhaps even more shocked at what she is seeing than Spinelli.

Maxie explains to Spinelli that her kiss proves she cares about him. Spinelli replies that he is "thoroughly conkissed --er-- convinced!". Lulu tells Spinelli that the kiss obviously meant nothing. The Jackal took exception to Lulu's "most ill-informed opinion", putting her in her place. He told Lulu that her words were beneath her and that she has made mistakes in her life too. Just as Lulu is not defined by her mistakes, Maxie isn't either. Very wise words from the Jackal, words that Lulu does not want to hear. She informs Spinelli that he is just Maxie's latest sucker, to which the Jackal replied, "...You don't think very much of me do you?"

"You don't think very much of me, do you?"

Lulu assured him that wasn't the case at all, that his trusting nature was simply being manipulated by Maxie. The arguement went nowhere, Maxie and Lulu fighting over history while Spinelli listened silently. He then took on the task of retrieving the lost email that brought him to the office in the first place. Kate the Fashionista doubted his abilities at first, but of course The Jackal and his mad computer skills triumphed and recovered the email before either Lulu or Maxie lost their job. As Spinelli left, both girls thanked him for his help. Lulu assured him that she wasn't mad at him at all and Maxie walked Spinelli out hand in hand.

The Madcap Adventures of Maxinista & the Jackal

In review on Monday and Tuesday episdoes I just can't help but smile.

The Jackal realizes that Dr Ian is going to try and make a break for it. Maxie and Spin originally plan to get Mac to arrest him with evidence that Spin will find.. Sadly Our fearless hero does not find enough. So Spin and Maxie make a distraction by getting Dr Ian to accompany Spin who is faking illness to the hospital. The they disable Dr Ian with a sedative. Then proceed to attempt stash the doc.

Wow its sounds funny even when I write that out. They end up in the morgue. The Jackal needs a computer terminal to arrange a 'spot' for Ian in the psych ward. Sadly all seeing Epiphany 'catches' them in the morgue.

Maxie then proceeds to weave one of her great tales. Epiphany does not buy it. She sees the computer and she sends them on there way. She does not see Ian though. They return they hear a drill and rush in worried they are 'working' on Ian.

The poor Jackal can't handle the gore and he passes out. He wakes up to the Maxinesta playing with his hair AGAIN.

Sadly Ian is gone and there is no sign of him. (he was not the body being worked on) they return back to the penthouse to brain storm and track Dr Ian down. They then proceed to have a wonderful discussion about each other. They complement each other both, it was very sweet. You can tell they both have a lot of respect for each other. Some time during their discussion Maxie takes a swig off Spinelli's orange soda. A very simple but very telling thing to do.

Lulu though ends up breaking up the moment. She been dumbed or she dumb or something happened with Johnny. Anyways she needs the Jackal's world famous touch and Lulu is surprised that Spinelli is not only not waiting around for her but is hanging out with none other then the great Maxinista herself. Spinelli won't share with what he is doing with Maxie. Lulu gives up and leaves but not with out having a talk with Maxie 'outside' the Jackal with his stealth skills listens to part of the conversation. Do you think he realized he had two women 'fighting' over him?

OMG did you see that

Ok I was away last week.. Yes really all of last week amazing spixieness I was away... Well on a plus side we had an AMAZING family vacation. So I am catching up right now.

My sister who we where staying with started to tease me and said Spinelli touched Maxie breast on purpose.

When she told me I said "My Spin would NEVER so that on purpose"
We had a disagreement over it for at least an hour.

See Maxie had the response I did.....

Also last week we had the adventures at Ian's apartment. Some of the funniest stuff in a long time. You think Jason is starting to get that Maxie is turning into a fixture in Spinelli's life? Is he jealous?

Oh and lets not forget when Spinelli went to the office to meet up with Maxie and Lulu thought he was there for her. You think she going to start to realize?

Does absence make the heart grow fonder?

I don't know. It kinda turns me into a bitter viewer. I actually think the whole cannery exploding thing had the chance to be interesting but having Spinelli in the mix would have been been so much better. Even 'just' for comic relief. They WHERE there. You have to guess they left before it exploded???(since Micheal and Carly where in the same spot Maxie and Spin was)

Here is hoping we get some Spin SOON......

Naked Spinelli Day..

March 13 2008 will be remembered for years and years to come. Women and girls will celebrate the day together. Naked Spinelli Day should be a national holiday.

Today started off with a phone call. A phone from Spinelli to Maxie. Spinelli has gotten himself in a pickle. He has 'lost' his clothes.

Maxie springs into action and arrives with a bag that has an outfit sure to fit Spinelli.
She become slightly horrified. Spinelli was NAKED!. Ok she was not horrified. She looked like she kinda liked it.

She pressed to find out why he was in this current state but Spinelli implied he was not prepared to share that information. Spinelli collected the bag of clothes and had Maxie hold his laptop. (impressive move)

Maxie was visually impressed with how well Spinelli looked in the uncharacteristic clothing she provided.

They start discussing the hidden bombs Diego hid before he died. Spinelli explains he is trying to crack them. Maxie remembering their track record suggested that perhaps Spinelli not use him computer. Maxie starts uncontrollably playing with his hair. In doing so caused him to hit a bunch of his keys by accident. Activating the bombs in the room all around them.

Ring Around the Table.......

Some things you can just be sure of. You can almost set your clock by them. If Maxie knows that there is a secret she WILL find out. Sorry Spin you can't hide.

After Maxie got her had on the laptop she became immediately helpful. Spinelli realized she a pretty good force to have on your side. Maxie is no dummy. Maxie also found out that the case was "the case of missing 'little Dude"

Maxie and Spinelli found their way on the ship that Micheal stowed away upon. Maxie used her powerful fashion sense to show that little dude was indeed on the boat.

Before Maxie and Spinelli parted they had another heart to heart. Maxie seems to not know what she wants to do with her life. She left Spinelli to his case so she could figure things out.

We ended the day in Jason's room. you know the room that Spinelli has looked the same the past three days. Yes that room. Spinelli lets Jason know hat he found out and they come to the conclusion that Spinelli should try and find Micheal and bring him home. (pretty much that is what they said)

The Case of the Missing Little Dude.

We start off today back at Kelly's . ANOTHER Spin lite episode but it was 'better' then yesterday
Spinelli not there but Mike starts talking about his. He even starts boasting about him.
Mike really seems to have a Spinelli soft spot. Spinelli ends up coming in and he needs to talk to Mike about the 'thugs' that he saw with Micheal when he caught him buying the bullets.

We then have a brief scene with Spinelli again hatless to visit Jason in the hospital. He shows Jason a video of the day Micheal disappeared. Jason must see Spinelli as the go to guy to help him solve this mystery.

Monday March 10th..
Ok another Spinelli lite day..

We catch Spinelli in Jason's hospital room. Its hard to tell if this is the first time they have seen each other since the whole TMK thing went down but Spinelli is reporting back to Jason about looking into what happened to Micheal.

It was pretty brief like I said but it was highlighted with the fact he was hatless or 'with out hat' .

Friendship of Acceptness

Friday March 7th...
This was a very brief Spinelli day but he was on. It was also pretty important in the development of the friendship between Spinelli and Maxie.

Spinelli has the box now. He explains to Cassius how he needs to be careful with the box. Brings up the wrapping paper on Maxie's gift when Maxie walks over and tells Spinelli that it was HER her found the clue. Cassius tries to dismiss Maxie but Spinelli with have none of that. Its is not only still Georgie's birthday but it seems like Spinelli trusts Maxie as a a vaulable resource in such matters.

They open the box and a find a book. "The Island of Dr Moreau". Spinelli was right. Stan was smart enough to leave behind a clue.

I Damian Spinelli ... I have someplace I need to be.

On Thursday March 6 ..
We start off at Kelly's it is just after the final battle with the TMK. Spinelli is still sufferking the effects of the the chloroform. Mike praises, jokes and almost gushes about Spinelli's involvement.

We then have Cassius come in and 'remind' Spinelli its time for him to get back on the Stan's death case. He keeps asking him to get the box open it right away. Spinelli is resistant.

I, Damian Spinelli, fragile and emotional mortal, though I wish I were not. I have someplace I need to be.

We then find him alone at Georgie's grave on her birthday. Maxie appears and they have a pretty heartfelt discussion. They go over how unfair it is that she is not here and how funny she would have found that Maxie ended up stuck in a sewer with Spinelli.

I really have a hard time deciding if the words that Spinelli said before he visited or the words he sad at the grave where the most important of the day.... Honestly I don't know.

Ding Dong the T-M-K is dead

Its gotta be true if the Jackal said it. After months of senseless, senseless and even more senseless deaths the TMK AKA fakeDiego is dead. Really dead this time.

We find out duo still stuck in the sewer. Spinelli gets Maxie out of the gate by using his great powerful arms and takes a bar right off the gate so she can get down. ahhh

They climb up and they find them in the warehouse where the episode before we saw that Nik Nadine and fakeDiego 'interacted'.

Spinelli figures out that the items belong to Nadine. Funny thing we learn that she 'smells' like her sister Jolene. Spin smelling things gets out of line when he smells a cloth with chloroform on it.

While not knocked out he was pretty useless and could barely walk. When they go up the catwalk Spinelli passes out and Maxie comes face to face with her attacker, her sister and boyfriend's murder. The TMK fakeDiego himself. He attacks Maxie and she put up a great fight. Go Maxie poke him again. Poor Spinelli can barely move with being drugged. She runs away as Nik comes after fakeDiego and she starts the fall and our hero Spinelli saves her from falling.

fakeDiego get tangled up while fighting with Nik and ends up falling and hanging himself.. Just deserts.

Simply Tuesday

Tuesday we are still stuck in the sewer..
I don't have a lot of time to discuss this but during tuesday's episode Spinelli said about the sweetest thing he has ever said.

"I've never been in the position to give my heart, body and soul to someone. If and when I do, all there is of me will be all their's, until they wish to hand it back to me."

Who knew being trapped in a sewer could be so much fun...

So as of the end of Monday's Episode Spinelli and Maxie are still stuck in the sewer trying to sniff out the TMK. They have been stuck since Friday's episode. I want to express how amazing these scenes have been. You stick Maxie and Spinelli in a box and Bradford and Kirsten are spinning it into gold.

A Slap, Blonde OneS and a Sewer.

First off lets take care of that elephant in the room. You know.. We started off from where we left off yesterday..After Lulu's crazy flip of the table she started saying all this uncalled for garbage about Maxie (Lulu even insulted her brother) Maxie let her have it. I will call it the slap heard around the world.(or at least Port Charles)

Jason breaks up the now fighting blonde ones. Lulu stampers off and Jason tries to get rid of Maxie. It does not work very well but he does get Spinelli to help him in the search for missing Micheal (little dude) and figure out if Jason is a really bad hit man (Dead Evil Al may not be so DEAD) or not. Jason seems very concerned that Maxie and Spinelli was spending so much time together. Ether that or he was jealous like Lulu.

After Jason leaves Maxie comes into Sonny's office and is all concerned since Spinelli is doing work for Jason that he is dropping the TMK search with her. She really seems concerned that he is not doing something for him and is going back as Jason's lacky. Spinelli explains he can do the searches for Jason and still help her. (remember he is a smart boy)

The Blonde Snoop.

After Spinelli tells Maxie to say out of Sonny's stuff He explains that he believes he knows what the numbers and letters mean on the wrapping paper from Coop's gift.

Tuesday Spinelli and Maxie had a huge set back. They found out that Logan is not the TMK. They didn't furfill thier goal to find the TMK.

Tuesday started off with Scotty pretty much 'attacking' Spinelli over the information he gave Lulu that go her to bash Logan monster in the head. He also tell Spinelli that Logan has an alibi for Sam's attack so he is not the TMK.
